New BBMRI.at Consortium Partner
BBMRI.at welcomes its new consortium partner University of Vienna.
With the starting of its 3rd year BBMRI.at welcomes the University of Vienna as new consortium partner, which will take over the agendas of the Life Science Governance Institute.
Under the leadership of Professor Ulrike Felt, the team (Johannes Starkbaum and Melanie Goisauf) will continue its excellent work in the field of "ELSI & Public Engagement". They currently are preparing the next round of Citizen Expert Panels – discussion forums with citizens and patients on biobank related related issues such as use of patient samples and data for research purposes.
Prof. Felt is Professor of Science and Technology Studies since 1999 and Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
