Several times a day also pathologists like Stephan Jahn from the Institute of Pathology at Med Uni Graz works for the BBMRI.at partner Biobank Graz. He to ensure that samples are taken properly from larger specimens for diagnostic purposes -  and for research, when patients have consented to donate residual tissue for research when it is no longer needed for diagnosis.

 

The close collaboration between the Institute of Pathology and the Biobank Graz is essential to guarantee sample quality and patient safety of the highest standard.
