Over 60 people from various universities in Graz participated in the first Science Breakfast 2021, which took place on 13 Jan 2021 in an online format. The event was part of a series of periodic events and a collaboration across disciplines and cultures diversity management for BioTechMed-Graz.
Presentations on the agenda were:
"COVID-19: Contribution from the Research Infrastructures BBMRI.at & ERINHA"

Head of the Diagnostics and Research Center for Molecular BioMedicine, Med Uni Graz and BBMRI.at Director.
Prof. Zatloukal gave an overview on the BBMRI.at, the Austrian Node of the European Biobanking Research Infrastructure BBMRI-ERIC, and how BBMRI.at support biobanks and researchers. He also presented results from COVID-19-related studies that are performed at the Institute of Pathology in Austria's highest level BSL-3 laboratory.

Dr. Gülly introduced Biobank Graz, one of Europe's largest clinical biobank, and its services for researchers. One of the many sample cohorts which make up the over 20 million total samples stored at biobank Graz, is the recently started Covid-19 convalescent cohort.
